And, I was once a liar.

 

For more than three decades I skirted the truth about my past that was filled with free-lunches, food stamps and watching my parents descend into a violent vortex of abuse and drug addiction.

Lying is exhausting.

So, I stopped lying and started writing about my sometimes wild, sometimes hilarious, sometimes heartbreaking past. I stopped trying to be someone that I wasn't and started being okay with who I am.
