the writings of
Sosha Lewis

Hi, I'm Sosha.
And, I was once a liar.
For more than three decades I skirted the truth about my past that was filled with free-lunches, food stamps and watching my parents descend into a violent vortex of abuse and drug addiction.

Lying is exhausting.

So, I stopped lying and started writing about my sometimes wild, sometimes hilarious, sometimes heartbreaking past. I have written articles and essays for The Washington Post, Huffington Post, MUTHA Magazine, The Charlotte Observer, and Charlotte Magazine.
Also, by day, I am a content writer for sites such as Garage Gym Reviews, ACTIVE, Sleep Advisor and Mattress Clarity.
Thank you for stopping by!
